In many ways, the bicycle had a significant effect on society; it was both the product of social change and an instrument causing further social change. This section covers some of the more prominent people of the Victoria bicycling community who may help us to understand the link between cycling and modernity. Through these stories we can explore and analyze social issues surrounding gender, class, and health of the cycling crowd of Victoria.
