St. Ann's Academy

Religious architecture, more than any other, stands as a prominent reminder to the social and cultural values of Pioneers. Religion occupied a vital part of their lives. Even for the secular society many found great security in religion. They built their churches with love, devotion, and a great deal of physial effort. Without realising it they built many of their values into these buildings. Herein lies an examination of these values through the buildings, the architects and some of the people who occupied St. Ann's Academy.
