VICTORIA, V. I. - JAMES BAY BRIDGE
Besides a roadstead having good holding ground, the port of
Victoria consists of an outer and an inner harbour. These
united present a frontage of three quarters of a mile long,
with a depth of water, at low tide, beginning with 8 feet
at the south end of James's Bay and increasing readily to
more than 25 feet at the north end.
