Bibliographies--Alphabetical Arrangement
Works in the "Works Cited" are arranged in alphabetical order
of the authors' surnames to make it easier for your reader to
find a citation. Here are two special cases:
- Include anonymous works alpabetized by title in the general list,
ignoring initial articles (a, an, and the).
- When there are two or more entries by the same author, put them
in alphabetical order by title.
