The WITS Programs are literature-based with book lists assembled by teachers and librarians. These children's books are widely available in libraries and bookstores and depict characters facing conflicts in a variety of contexts. The books can be used to initiate discussions with children about how characters use WITS or WITS LEADS strategies and, in some cases, how the characters could have done a better job of "using their WITS."
