A. Switch to Internet Explorer
or
B. Configure Acrobat Reader so that a PDF file is opened in a separate window.
  1. Start your Acrobat 4.0 viewer.

  2. Choose File > Preferences > General.

  3. Deselect Web Browser Integration in the Options section and then click OK.

  4. Exit from the Acrobat 4.0 viewer.

  5. Restart Navigator.

  6. Install Acrobat 4.0 as an external viewer for Netscape

    a. The first time you try to open a PDF file, Netscape will ask you how to handle such files. Choose 'Pick Apps',

    b. Browse to Acrobat, and select it (if you installed with the default locations, for Windows will be in c:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 4.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe). Click OK to exit Pick Apps.

    Now, when you read PDF files from Netscape, Acrobat will start as a separate window ('external' to Netscape)."
