Courses

I currently teach a course in experimental design and data analysis, BIOL 330. The course begins with the nature of data and carries through standard univariate statistics to multi-way analysis of variance, regression, and analysis of covariance. We also examine how to analyze categorical responses using Chi-Square analysis and logistic regression. The focus is on the design of research projects and the interpretation of published research. Along the way we consider good practice in scientific writing and data presentation.
