Welcome to UVic's Canopy Research Page
The key feature of our research is to identify questions and hypotheses that will help us address basic conservation of biodiversity questions. In particular we are interested in exploring the structural, functional, and biological complexity associated with canopy ecosystems. The discovery and descriptions of canopy arthropod communities form a base that we are using to test ecological principles and document changes in diversity (beta-diversity) across spatial scales. |
