Board Meetings are held monthly- times and locations are announced through our Facebook page, weekly newsletter and posted here on our blog.
Board Member Roles include providing direction for the garden, participating in decision making, managing the garden budget, and being part of the garden community.
Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and semi-AGMs
Everyone is welcome to attend. The AGM and SAGM are held each spring (April) and fall (September)
We meet to decide on direction and initiatives for the upcoming year and review the past year. We also elect new members to the board of directors, who may be current UVSS undergraduate students or plot renters. If you would like to become a board member, please email us at email@example.com and come to our next AGM. We encourage people of diverse backgrounds and experiences to join the board, this is a student run club and anyone who is interested and has initiative can participate in co-creating the community garden.
Our next AGM will be September 27th 2017 @ 5 PM. Location TBD. Snacks are provided.
