WHEN TO SOW OUTDOORS
- Sow peas in February
- Late Feb, early Mar – sow greens, early spring greens, mezuna lettuce
- April/May – cilantro, parsley, basil, chard
- Mid April to Mid May – sow winter leeks in nursery bed, transplant to trenches around mid July.
- Late May to Mid June – parsnips, cereliac
- May – sow squash, beans, tomatoes,
- May – transplant tomatoes, leeks
- Late June – carrots, brussel sprouts, purple sprouting broccoli, spring cauliflower, kale
- August – plant purple chinese garlic
- Fall – fava beans garlic
WINTER GARDENING – direct seeding – late May to early July
