Midterm Tests

Regular Fall term Midterm tests will take place outside of regular class time. This is the only way we can ensure that all

students are writing the same midterms at the same time. Midterms will be on Fridays after regular classes.

We have chosen the 5-6 PM time so as to avoid as many potential conflicts as possible. You are required to be present for the mid-term tests.
  • Midterm #1: Fall 2016, Friday 14 October, 5-6 pm
  • Midterm #2: Fall 2016, Friday 18 November, 5-6 pm

We plan to post the test scores in CourseSpaces on your MyPage.

The usual notation we use is as follows: E means an excused absence. 0 means that you did not write

the test and have not provided a written excuse. E/0 means that you have contacted me about having missed the test but you have

not given me a written medical excuse. The E/0 notation reverts to 0 if I don't get a doctor's note in the next week. N means you did not write the test.

However, CourseSpaces does not permit uploading of non-numerical grades.
