


York University, located in Toronto, Ontario, is thrilled to announce its successful bid to host the 1999 Canadian Political Science Student Association Conference, entitled "Towards the Millennium."
From Thursday, January 21st through Sunday, January 24th, political science students representing universities from across the country will descend upon York University to discuss the future of the Canadian Political Science Student Association, including the election of a national executive body, while attending workshops geared toward improving communication and using the CPSSA as an information source for prospective and current political science students.
Some of the highlights of the conference will include:
- A Wine and Cheese Reception at the Ontario Legislature, Queens Park, with Ontario Provincial politicians as featured guests
- A Gala Reception featuring a celebrity surprise guest
Constitutional Session - Election of the Canadian Political Science Association National Executive
- Along with many opportunities to experience the sights, sounds and culture of Toronto!
