钱镜，字思贤，浙江淳安人，毕业于浙江工商大学，曾任浙江工商大学学生会执行主席，浙江工商大学法学院学生会主席，也是浙江省新世纪人才学院第九期学员，曾代表浙江省学联列席浙江省十届人大五次会议，有较为丰富的学生工作经验和一定的组织策划与人际交往能力。2007年获全额奖学金到维多利亚大学法学院攻读法学硕士，现任维多利亚大学参议院学生参议员，维多利亚大学研究生会秘书长，发起并领导多项学生运动，主要关注国际留学生，尤其是中国学生的权益保护，活跃于维多利亚大学学生政治的舞台，08年末被聘为校长特别顾问委员会成员。

王一凡，男。出生于陕西省西安市。2001年毕业于西安美术学院, 获艺术学士学位。曾于2000应邀参加由教育部及文化部合办的‘两岸大学生艺术研习营’，并赴台湾交流。2001年获省级优秀毕业生, 同年加入陕西省油画家学会。作品‘高原日记’获‘全国八大美术学院毕业生作品展’优秀奖，并参加全国及台湾地区巡展，之后赴美国展览。2004年赴加拿大维多利亚大学学习语言。2005年就读于该校视觉艺术专业 (Visual Arts)，并于2007年获得艺术硕士学位（Master of Fine Arts）。2008年继续于维多利亚大学攻读跨学科 (Interdisciplinary) 博士学位。现任‘亚洲及太平洋研究’（Pacific and Asian Study）系驻研究生会代表、维多利亚大学‘学术计划评议委员会’（Senate Committee of Planning）委员。

Yifan Wang, Candidate of PhD at Asian Pacific Study in UVic, was born in China and graduated with his MFA from Visual Arts of University of Victoria in Canada. His digital documentary film on Chinese traditional shadow puppet plays has been shown recently at the Art Gallery of Great Victoria. Yifan is currently doing interdisciplinary doctorial study at University of Victoria. His research is focused specifically on Buddhism and the digital arts. His ongoing project is a digital installation based on the study of ‘experience’ acquired from Buddhist meditation and virtual reality.

杨哲，男，中国籍，现在加拿大维多利亚大学电子与计算机工程系攻读博士学位，研究方向为无线网络、超宽带通信等。分别于2008，2005年在西安交通大学获得信息工程学士学位和控制科学与工程硕士学位，多次获得罗克韦尔奖学金、彭康奖学金、优秀学生干部等奖励及荣誉称号，并多次代表西安交通大学参加各项科技竞赛获得优异成绩，攻读硕士学位期间在核心期刊发表学术论文两篇并获优秀毕业生。

YANG,Zhe, MALE, Chinese, a PhD candidate of Electrical & Computer Department of University of Victoria, CA. His research interest spreads from wireless networks to UWB etc. He got the bachelor degree in Information Engineering and master degree in Control Science and Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2005 and 2008 separately. During his learning in university, he got the Rockwell scholarship (for top student only), Pengkang scholarship (for first class students only), excellent student leader etc. awards many times. He took part in many national level science and technology competitions some times and got pretty good results. He also published two papers in top level journal during his learning for master degree, while he was also awarded as excellent graduate student.

江巴争追，男， 1986年2月1日，来自祖国彩云之南。 2005 年3月来加国学习，曾就读于温哥华高贵林学院，于2007年转入维多利亚大学，目前是大学三年级社会学专业学生。本人热心于参与学校内的各种社团活动，能良好地处理好周遭的各种关系，具备一定的处理应对问题的能力。很高兴这次能成为我校中国学生学者联谊会的一员，今后定会努力地为我们中国学生社团服务，积极地做好中国以及中加学生学者之间良好互动,友谊的桥梁纽带.

My name is Zhengzhui，Jiangba . 1986. 2. 1. I come from Yunnan province, south west of China. I have been staying in Canada for almost four years. I was studying in Coquitlam College when I first came into Canada, and I secondly transferred to Uvic as a second year of Sociology student. Now, I am doing my last year courses. I am keen on all kinds of activities related to school. I do have the ability to handle and solve problems and to build up good relationship with affairs around me. I am so glad to be selected as a member of Uvic Chinese Students and Scholars Association. In sum, I will try my best to serve for our Chinese student community, so as to be an active international promoter of the communication for Chinese Students and Scholars Association.

贾泰，天津人，先于维多利亚大学商科学习，维多利亚大学华人社现任社长。刻苦,稳重,谦虚,豁达--- 用这四个词形容自己再好不过了. 我一直觉得性格决定人生,我的性格让我结识了很多贤师良友,积累了不少组织策划经验,也让我在学习中不断进步. 我喜欢把课本中的知识与生活中的道理结合,喜欢不断用新的道理诠释自己的生活. 我不知道这一生中到底能为社会做些什么,但如果说生活是一条漫漫长路,那么我们脚下每一步都是成功.

As an international student, I have enjoyed learning about other cultures. I am very practical and open-minded. Through my experience as a monitor for three years and president of HuaRen Club at UVic, I have developed confidence and strong organizational skills. I am a very optimistic person and good at encouraging others. I have a high degree of self-control and strong leadership skills.
