Executives 2011
The Joint Executive oversees
union business between general membership meetings (e.g., education,
grievance reports, financial business, political action, etc.). Each
component has its own executive with a president, two vice-presidents, a
recording secretary, a treasurer and members at large. Combined, they
form the Joint Executive. Officers receive a small monthly stipend, while
the Treasurer for the union is a paid position.
The President of the local is
elected by the Joint Executive.
This year, the President of the
local is Josephine MacIntosh.
The treasurer is Greg Melnechuk.
