Jeff Larocque, MSc Candidate
Many people seem to find his last name amusing, given his chosen area of study. Jeff, has heard this joke so many times, however, that now it just makes him kind of sad.
He graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in geology in 2005, and was strongly influenced by summer field work in the remote wilderness northern Quebec and Baffin Island, prompting him to undertake a field study of the Bonanza Arc on Vancouver Island. Jeff also enjoys playing acoustic guitar, outdoor soccer, camping, and frolicking with dogs.
