We are located in the Department of Biology and the School of Earth & Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria in the beautiful city of Victoria BC.

Research in the lab involves various aspects of biological oceanography and marine ecology. I am particularly interested in the ways that biology and physics interact to structure marine communities and, specifcally, how these processes affect the growth and survival of zooplankton and young fish. Most of our projects are field-based, and members of the lab usually spend several weeks at sea per year.

GRADUATE STUDIES
I am always on the lookout for enthusiastic graduate students. If you are interested in pursuing graduate studies in the lab, please email me.
