Mindful yoga is a
synthesis of yoga and meditation. The practice includes
both long held passive yin postures to enhance the
meridian and organ system, and a slow flowing yang
practice. The asana practice is a followed by seated
meditation to develop clarity and allow insight to
arise. This 3 hour practice will explore the Brahma
Viharas, also known as the heavenly abodes. The Brahma
Viharas represent our finest qualities: loving kindness,
compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity. By
cultivating these inherent capacities of warmth and
kindness we transform habitual patterns of dissonance
into powerful forces of benevolence.
