Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and a major tourist destination. As such it offers a wide variety of accommodations.

We have arranged limited room blocks with following hotels:

Swans Hotel

Swans Hotel offers a block of 1 bedroom suites ($100 + tax) and 2 bedroom suites ($145 +tax), at these reduced rates, until booked. Please mention "UVic_WISE conference" when booking.

Best Western Carlton Downtown

The Best Western Downtown  offers a block of single or double rooms ($129 + tax), and upgrades to studios (+$20), until 31 March, or until booked. Please mention "UVic_WISE conference" when booking. Bookings can be made via the frontdesk (ask for Manami Watson), or by e-mail, only.

UVic Visitor accommodation

The university offers a variety of accommodations (single, or twin dormitory, single apartment, 4 bedroom cluster, hotel-style rooms)  on campus. Please book directly with UVic residence services

In addition, several hotels offer special rates for UVic guests. Just mention "UVic conference attendant" when making inquiries.

have offered reduced rates for WISE2017.
