Braefoot School
Children from grades 1, 3, 4, & 5 have created cloth banners representing Zanzibar (Tanzania) and Canada. Within the words ‘Canada’ and ‘Tanzania’ children will attach local symbols and artifacts that represent their local communities. The banners will then be sent to children in Zanzibar for them to add to the creation of these banners. Children’s handprints from Jambiani and Braefoot Schools will form the border for these banners.
