BOG and Senate Elections at UVic

It is election season at UVIC…

Graduate students may wish to consider running for

UVIC Senate

The Senate makes academic decisions, such as establishment of new programs and managing the library.

UVIC Board of Governors

The ”BOG” makes financial and capital plans for the university, such as approving tuition levels and new buildings.

Nominations for these UVIC positions close 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Packages can also be picked up in the GSS office.

VOTING

Polling for UVIC Senate, Board of Governors, and the GSS elections will be held on webvote: Feb 29 – March 2, 2012 on webvote. You must be a currently registered graduate student to vote.
