General Meetings

Twice a year, members have an opportunity to give direct input into the affairs of the Society through the annual and semi-annual general meetings. At the annual general meeting in October, members receive audited financial statements from the previous fiscal year and reports from the Society’s Executive Council. At the semi-annual general meeting in March, members review and adopt an annual budget presented by the Executive Council. The Society’s Constitution and Bylaws can only be amended by a general meeting or by referendum.

All current UVIC graduate students are invited to the GSS Annual General Meeting.
