Viaje a Chichen Itza Maribel is a student of archeology, especially mayan ruins, and has just returned from Chichen Itza, a Mayan ruin in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico. Here she is narrating her visit to her friend Marisol, who is not listening very well. Read along and then answer the questions at the left about ser and estar. Bueno, Marisol, tú sabes que yo soy estudiante de arquilogía y necesito hablar de todo. Primero, las ruinas están en la Yucatan, a 120 kilómetros de Cancún. Es facil llegar por carro o autobús. Segundo, las ruinas son muy antiguas--¡tienen más de 1200 años! Hay pirámides, templos, y muchas esculturas bonitas.
