Research Interests:

My primary areas of research interest are labour economics, public economics and micro econometrics. In particular, my research to this point has focused on issues related to self-employment. The topics I have examined include; the role of taxes and economic conditions, male-female differences in self-employment dynamics, income tax non-compliance, the role of labour market policies and immigrant self-employment.
