- Optical alignment is done
- The computer and software architecture is ready
- Most of he control algorithms have been written and validated with
simulation
- All the hardware components are now integrated on the bench
- Preliminary simulation and validation against real hardware in progress
- Characterization of deformable mirrors is in progress
Woofer Tweeter Plan
- For September/October 2005:
- Woofer and tweeter integration
- WFS, tip-tilt, woofer and tweeter calibrations and tests
- First closed-loop runs (without the real-time pipeline)
- Until January-February 2006
- Real-time closed-loop runs with the different control algorithms
and final report
Woofer-Tweeter follow on tests
- MCAO upgrade:
- Conjugation of the woofer in altitude
- Test of MCAO control algorithms (tomographic reconstruction)
- High order tweeter upgrade:
- Tests in true condition of control algorithms for XAO and MCAO
with ELTs
