Andrew was born and raised in Victoria, BC. After completing two undergraduate degrees at UVic and dabbling as an opera singer, Andrew came to UVic Law to try and secure a real job. He has a love of music, nature, and travelling and can always be found with a smile on his face and a song in his head. He is proud and passionate to be from Victoria and has an uncanny knack for dispensing random trivia about the city’s history. Andrew knows this campus and the city like the back of his hand and is more than glad to help you discover what makes living here so wonderful. He is dedicated to ensuring all of his fellow classmates have an amazing time in Victoria and at UVic Law.

Madeleine Shaw

Born and raised in the sunny Okanagan amid dry rolling hills and copious amounts of wine, Maddie has spent the past number of years suffering from a debilitating case of wanderlust. Despite frequent hiatus, she completed a Political Science degree before returning to UVic for law. In addition to finding herself in countries where she doesn’t speak the language, Maddie’s great loves include yoga, health and wellness, nurturing a supportive community in the Fraser building, and funny people.
Ask her about her future sailboat, finding time for sport while in law school, and which countries’ street food to avoid.
