What: LSS and Faculty Committee Nominations
When: Nominations open Monday, September 20th at 9am and close Sunday,
September 26th at 7pm. Candidate speeches happen Monday, September 27th.

student lounge.
What: Pro Bono Students Canada Launch Event. PBSC-UVic invites you to our
2010-2011 Launch Event. Two respected members of the Victoria legal
community, Irene Faulkner and Catherine Boies Parker, will speak about
their experience in the landmark Victoria (city of) v. Adams decision as
well as the role of pro bono work in private practice. Come out to learn
about PBSC-UVic! Lunch will be provided.

What: Calgary & Toronto Wine & Cheese Reception. Law firms and legal
employers from Toronto and Calgary will attend this reception, hosted by
the Law Careers Office. All students welcome. Business attire is
recommended.

What: Clubs Days. Cruise through the lounge to find tables with
representatives from all the clubs running at UVic Law. This is the chance
to get involved with the clubs you’re interested in.
