David Eso, Member of the Poetry Board

David EsoDavid Eso, Ph.D., is an editor, writer, and literary critic. His book-length editions are Post-glacial: The Poetry of Robert Kroetsch (WLUP); The Earth Is Flat: An Exposé of the Globularist Hoax by Leo Ferrari (ISER); and Where the Nights are Twice as Long: Love Letters of Canadian Poets, 1883 – 2014 (Goose Lane). His poems appear in Vallum, Canadian Literature, and the Bellfield Literary Review. Academic articles include “Helter Shelter: An Introduction to the Poetry of James Louden,” “Perfect Mismatch: Gwendolyn MacEwen and the Flat Earth Society,” and “From Friction, Heat: Kroetsch, Spanos, and boundary 2.” After completing his doctorate at UVic in 2021, Eso launched the Victoria company Fine Line Edits—a going concern.
