Subject:      suction-cup tagging success/attempt ratios
 
I would be interested in finding out from other researchers who do suction-cup tagging
(TDR and VHF) your successful attachment to number of attempts ratio. I am particularly
interested in gray whales as that is the species I am presently working with, however I
would like to find out this ratio for all species. If you could tell me where you are
doing your work that would also be helpful.  For those interested I can tabulate all
the responses I get and report them back to you. I am interested in both crossbow and
pole attachment techniques. You may respond to me at
