Skunk Cabbage

I took a series of pictures along Lochside Trail, which I take when I go to the university on my mountain bike. Along the trail, there is a lot of water, especially during the rainy season. I like this photo because the yellow is brightly set against the dark background, and the purplish out-of-focus flowers provide a nice contrast both to the green and yellow of the skunk cabbage.
