Preference Talk vs Preferences as Construct

Jeannie: No English the subject, after grade 10 I didn’t really like it. I don’t know what it is I just find it useless after that

INTERVIEWER: ok

Jeannie: I can’t really think of much else actually

INTERVIEWER: is done?

Jeannie: yeah there isn’t that much I don’t like

INTERVIEWER: you don’t like only English?

Jeannie: yeah that is about it uhm otherwise I pretty much; I kind of treat everything as one big experience. I like a lot of stuff and I am interested in trying everything before I decide I dislike it yeah so

INTERVIEWER: yeah actually not only career but jobs. For example when I was young I wanted to be a mom, it is kind of work, so maybe you want to finish your grade

Jeannie: so like career plans and stuff?
