Courses

Our group focuses on structure relationships critical to understanding the effects of structure and bonding on electronic structure in organic materials.

Courses taught in teh area of organic chemistry are Introduction to Organic Chemistry (Chem 231), Synethtic Methods in Organic Chemistry (Chem 335), and Structure, Bonding, and Reactivity (Chem 353).

Specialized courses involve Materials chemistry (Chem 459/634), Structure and Bonding in Biology and Materials (Chem 434/634), Magnetism and Magnetic Measurements (Chem 590), and Current TRends in Materials CHemistry (Chem 590).
