Every student (usually as part of a pair of students) will present one paper to the class, after which the class will discuss the paper. It is important that you are interested in the paper and that (with effort) you can make sense of the main ideas.
To ensure timely preparation and a good presentation, students are required to meet with the instructor 1.5 weeks before the day of their presentation and discuss their paper with the instructor. For any paper a student presents, the student (or pair of students) is also asked to submit reading quetsions. These reading questions will be merged with the instructors' reading questions and released to the class.
The list of papers below is meant to be a good set to choose from. This list might grow from time to time. If you are a student and would like to suggest adding a paper to the list, please email me (Nishant) so that I can consider it.
