NOWCAM 2023 will be at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in Richmond, BC (near Vancouver). It will kick off at 6 pm on the evening of Thursday, April 20^th with a social event at The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill in Richmond (Central at Garden City) with $15 burger and beverage, then will run all day April 21^st and part of the day on April 22^nd.

The Keynote Speaker will be Mike Caulfield, renowned from his research on helping people tell fiction from fact on social media. In addition to the keynote address, Prof. Caulfield will offer a workshop on the SIFT method for fact checking.

The fee to attend the conference is $30 for students and $60 for faculty.

There will also be a fabulous gala banquet on the evening of April 21 at Gingeri Chinese Cuisine (Lansdowne Centre, across from KPU). Gala tickets are $30 for students and $60 for faculty per person, which includes all costs for a multi-course Chinese banquet (excluding drinks). Ample vegetarian options will be available at the gala meal.
