Once you’ve decided to apply to the University of Victoria, there are a few key steps to take, including choosing a faculty, submitting an application fee, applying to housing if you wish to live on campus, and applying for student awards or financial aid.
The Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Services provides a step-by-step guide to applying for admission. The list applies to domestic and international students.
You can also apply directly online. The online application is provided by the Post-Secondary Application Service of British Columbia (PASBC), which provides online applications to most of the post-secondary institutions in British Columbia. You will be required to create or use an existing account in the MyBCCampus Portal Services website to access the application form pages.
English Profiency is required for admission
UVic requires all students to meet a certain level of English language proficiency.
If your first language is not English, you must submit proof of English proficiency in order to be considered for admission to UVic.
There are many ways to demonstrate English proficiency, and the Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Services provides a detailed list of options.
