Come visit us!
Why not sign up for a Campus Tour? It's a great way to see our beautiful, friendly campus. Our tour guides are typically third- or fourth-year students who will share their experiences of life at UVic and provide an overview of what UVic has to offer.
School teachers and counsellors can also arrange for students to participate in a School Visit.
Daily Campus Tours
Tour hours : Monday through Saturday at 1:00 p.m. All tours include seeing a room in UVic Residences
Parking:We recommend parking in Lot 2.
Monday through Friday tours
- Meet in front of the Photo ID and Information booth in the University Centre Building's main lobby, unless otherwise instructed.
- Includes a 15- to 20-minute question and answer period with an Admissions and Recruitment Liason, as well as a 1 hour tour led by student guides.
Saturday tours
- Saturday Tours: Meet on the front steps of the UVic Bookstore.
- 90-minute tour led by our student guides.
Please note: There will be no tours on Friday, April 2, Monday, April 5 or Monday, May 24 as the University of Victoria will be closed.
On Saturday, May 29 UVic will be welcoming potential students and their parents to campus for Experience UVic, a day-long open house event aimed at introducing potential UVic students to their prospective faculties, classmates and campus. As there will be several opportunities to tour campus throughout this fun and informative event, please note that there will not be a regularly-scheduled 1:00p.m. tour on this day. School Visit Program and Group Tours
The School Visit Program is for school groups to experience life at UVic. These visits are very popular with counsellors and students and consist of one or more of the following:
- campus tour (up to 90 minutes)
- question and answer period with a recruitment/admission officer
- presentation on co-operative education opportunities for students
- student panel: where current UVic students will share their experiences
Duration: Up to 3 hours
*Only counsellors or teachers may book a School Visit.
School and group visits must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
