UVic's PEER HELPING program

has been on campus for 26 years

Peer Helpers are students trained in listening, support and referral skills. Our drop-in office provides a comfortable, private, confidential and safe space for students who would like someone to talk to. The office is located in the Learning Commons at McPherson Library, 135e. We also have regular weekly events in the Welcome Centre in the University Centre. Please feel free to drop by and talk with one of us about whatever is on your mind.

Peer Helping is a program supported by Counselling Services. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like more information about the program, the Staff Coordinator(s) can be reached at (250) 721-8341 or Counselling Services at the University of Victoria.
