Researchers must now pre-book appointments to work in the RDC. The RDC is a Statistics Canada facility and thus operates according to Statistics Canada’s rules. As a federal agency, Statistics Canada is following Public Health Agency of Canada Protocols which require the wearing of medical mask of at least ASTM Level 1 inside the RDC. Medical masks are available at the front entrance area. Please sanitize your hands and then pick up a medical mask upon entry.

The Statistics
Canada Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) provides direct access to Public
Use Microdata Files (PUMFs). Applicants must demonstrate that their research
cannot be conducted using PUMFs. UVic affiliates have
access through the Library Data Services Dataverse.
