It was a gloomy Sunday afternoon when Ella and her little sister, Anna, were fishing on the rocks of a nearby river. Suddenly, a **large bear** approached them with a loud growl and a look of hunger. She though quickly about whether she should [[ continue fishing]], [[make lots of noise to scare the bear]], or [[move slowly to land and then run]] as the bear continued to walk closer.Ella did not want to worry Anna and she knew that bears were a regular part of wildlife. So, Ella casually casted out her line again, when she noticed they caught the attention of the bear. What now Ella thought to herself without letting Anna see her fear. Ella had to figure out what to do [[now]]. The bear looked puzzled at Ella and Anna. The bear took one large stride towards them, but as the noise they were making got louder, the bear stopped in its tracks, and began to [[turn away]].

They stopped in their tracks and knew there was only one thing left to do. The girls made themselves looks and big as possible started to [[make lots of noise to scare the bear]].Ella looked back at the bear that was standing no more than 10 meters away from them. She needed to decide if she should [[make lots of noise to scare the bear]], or [[move slowly to land]] and then make a break for it as she locked eyes with the bear.Ella grabbed her sister and slowly moved off the rocks, stepping towards land... but also towards the bear. Ella and her sister instantly decided to [[move slowly to land and then run]].The girls continued to make loud noise until the bear was [[running in the opposite direction]] and *out of sight*.Ella let out a huge sigh of relieve and comforted her scared, but relieved little sister. They both quickly gathered their belongings and *raced up* the trail to the [[safety of their log cabin]]. The girls then fell fast asleep, warm by the fire, after their **eventful** day on the water.
