Partho Sarothy, Partho Sarothy is one of the finest musicians of our country. His music embodies the true heritage of Hindustani Raagdari music. His virtuosity on the sarod makes his exploration of raagas an exercise in harmony, tranquility and his serious meditative approach makes his music literally soar to unscaled heights of fulfillment. Partho started his musical training under his father late Sudhamoy Chowdhury , who was a disciple of pt. Radhikamohan Moitra, the great sarod maestro. Partho then took lessons for nearly a decade from Ustad Dhyanesh Khan - son and disciple of the legendary sarod player Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Since 1980, Partho has been under the direct guidance of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar, India’s greatest musician. With this long and very illustrious training under those great gurus coupled with an inherent protean creative sensibility, Partho Sarothy's music is truly a symphony in serenity.

Born in 1060, Partho is based in Calcutta, the cultural mecca of India. He has been performing for last 40 years in India and all over the world as a soloist and also with his great guru pt. Ravi Shankar as a accompanist in the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Elizabeth Hall In London and the kremlin in Moscow USSR, Carnegie Hall in USA and other numerous places in and out of India. In India he has given concerts at all the major music festivals like Doverlane and S.R.A. festival in Calcutta, the Savai Gandharva festival in Pune, IMG festtival in Mumbai, the Shankarlal festival and Vishnu Digambar Jayanti in Delhi , Ustad Allauddin music sangeet samaroho in Maihar (MP), Tansen sangeet samaroho in Gwalior and numerous other places in India.

Ramdas Palsule Ramdas Palsule is a very familiar name to the worshippers of Hindustani music as an intellectual Tabla Player who has carved a niche for himself at a very young age. Having achieved Bachelor's degree in engineering, Ramdas has been recognized as one of the most senior disciples of World Famous Tabla Maestro Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar. Being an accomplished soloist as well as a versatile accompanist, he has performed widely in all the eminent music festivals of India.  Outside India, he has performed practically all over the world including countries like U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, Africa and the Gulf Countries. His Tabla accompaniment ranges from distinguished vocalists to prominent instrumentalists and also to renowned Kathak dancers of the country. He has accompanied with almost all the top notch musicians & dancers of today. Besides performances, Ramdas imparts training to the younger generation of students of Tabla. He is also appointed as a Guru in the Center for Performing Arts of the University of Pune, for last almost 20 years. Ramdas has been instrumental in conception of AVARTAN GURUKUL, which has now commenced this year in Pune. Stalwarts like Taalyogi Pt.Suresh Talwalkar, Pt.Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt.Uday Bhawalkar, Pandita Shama Bhate, Pandita sucheta Bhide Chapekar & Ramdas himself are the Gurus of this Gurukul.
