ABOUT THE SNHS
The SNHS was set up in 1988 to preserve the language, culture, and artistic and historical values of the Saanich people; it serves four First Nations communities (Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Pauquachin). Its mandate includes supporting the collection of information about the SENĆOŦEN language, and educating the Saanich community members in the language.
