To all who shall see these presents, Greeting:

BE IT KNOWN, That in pursuance of an act of consensus, decided on the 22nd day of July two thousand and five, I have Commissioned, and by these presents do commission, the private armed Three Quarter Ton called Virgil of the burden of two and one half tons, or thereabouts, owned by Robin Digby and Linda Ecklund-Digby of East Coulee.  Mounting several spades and shovels, a pick axe, a few rock hammers, and large rocks, and navigated by one hundred & twenty nine men (plus or minus one hundred & twenty eight) and one small monkey, hereby authorizing Robin Digby captain, and Matt Shannon lieutenant of the said Three Quarter Ton and the other officers and crew thereof, to subdue, seize, and take any armed or unarmed vessel, vehicle, or structure, public or private, which shall be found within the jurisdictional limits of the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus, or elsewhere on the high seas, or within any of the waters or lands of any nation state that does not pay proper tribute to the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus, and such captured vessel, with her apparel, guns, and appertenances, and the goods or effects which shall be found on board the same, together with all the persons and others who shall be found acting on board, to bring within some port of the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus, or approximation thereof; and also to retake any vessel, goods, and effects that may prove themselves useful, which may have been captured or otherwise obtained by any vessel, vehicle, or persons, in order that proceedings may be had concerning such capture or recapture in due form of consensus, and as to right and justice shall appertain. The said Robin Digby and Matt Shannon are further authorized to detain, seize, and take all vessels and effects, to whomsoever belonging, which shall be liable thereto according to the consensus of the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus as a power at war, and to bring the same within some port of the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus, in order that due proceedings may be had thereon, or failing to make said port, to have good use of the vessels, effects, and persons so captured. This commission to continue in force during the pleasure of the Grand Khan of the Autonomous Region Under The Knobby Arbutus for the time being.
