All of the equipment we use on a regular basis is found in our own lab. This includes a recently purchased PCR cycler, a scintillation counter, recording spectrophotometer, spectrofluorimeter, FPLC and a preparative centrifuge. The lab is also equipped for tissue culture and bacterial culture. The Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology is also extremely well equipped. Some of the instruments we use from time to time include an analytical ultracentrifuge, a microsequencing facility and a peptide synthesis unit.
