Entry
Level and Exit Outcomes:
We are assuming that the majority of the students will have the basic
ideas about the general rules of the game, such as where to tee off from, how to
keep score, and understanding of when to shoot.
The students may be somewhat limited in, quite simply, how to properly
get their ball in the hole.
For exit outcomes we hope
to teach the students by working on the motor development and mechanics of the
actual swing, combined with tactical and strategical knowledge of how to play
certain shots in certain situations. Throughout
the unit, we will also try to enhance the students knowledge of sportsmanship
and proper golf etiquette on the course.
