Students Making Rules for Games
-students will be given an explanation about the important points of
making a game playable and a demo of how to apply them the first time they
are asked to make the rules for a game.
-How to start play
-How to restart play
-How to score
-After the students have seen this done once or twice they will be
asked to decide on rules that are necessary for the given game to function
before they go and play it (This is the divergent
teaching style at work).
-Then the next game the students they will sent out to play the game
and told as they go to make the necessary rules.
-This not only saves time but it makes the game more personalized and
the students learn the valuable cognitive skill of making rules for a functional
and competitive game.
