Game/Task Outline
Tactical Problem: Incorporating dribbling with feet to teach ball control
Skill development: to dribble soccer ball with maximal control trying to elude defender
  • Teaching points:
    • maintain ball control
    • keep eye on other player as well as controlling ball
    • watch out for other players with in space

     
    Organizational Points: 
    • each player has ball
    • each player chooses either 1 or 2
    • one's are the leaders, and two's follow the leader
    • taking place in large grid on field
    • start out walking without ball and work to walking dribbling ball and then build up to running with ball 
    • switch positions after teacher's whistle
