This lesson was developed for a grade eight girls class with varying skill levels. This is a four lesson unit plan to introduce and develop how to use tactics and skills for soccer within a game.
 
 

ENTRY ABILITY:
 

• ability to kick the ball with varying levels of control and accuracy
• able to score
• ability to receive a pass of moderate speed and accuracy

EXIT ABILITY:

• ability to use verbal communication to enhance team play (passing / receiving / creating space)
• ability to create space to receive a pass ....pass ball to an open space for a teammate to receive
• ability to attack / defend the goal using proper shooting technique and positioning
• maintain team possession of ball by creating and utilizing open space
• continue game play using the throw-in
