BEEF

• B   Balance:  have feet shoulder width apart, knees bent
• E   Eyes:  have the eyes focus on small area near the back of the rim
• E   Elbow:  Have elbow in close to body midline
• F   Followthrough:  Fully extend elbow and finish with the fingers extended towards the rim

Organization:

Students will work with a  partner without basket or ball working on teaching points.  The students will offer feedback until the students are comfortable with shooting technique.
 

• Students will work in groups of two at  a basket
• They will both face the basket
• One partner will pass the ball and the student receiving the ball will shoot
• Student shooting should about 2.5 metres away from basket (not layup but not long shot)

•   Student passing the ball can add some passive defence so the shot will closely resemble a game situation
