Managerial Routines

Introduction:
- listen for command of what to do or they just come in and sit down

Equipment:
- listen to help set-up and clean up
- aware that the pinnies are in bags and balls are on the rack
- girls are aware that they must get permission before using equipment

Teams:
- groupings are written on paper beforehand and placed on the floor for girls to look at

Attention:
- listen for the whistle, they know that it means attention to the teacher and no talking
- when the ball is held in the air all the balls must stop bouncing
- teacher will not talk unless everyone is quiet

Attendance:
- taken on a sheet when they entered the class

Time-savers:
- teacher counts out loud to make girls hurry and be efficient
example: you have 5 seconds to get to the basket and start playing
