Lesson 1
Tactical Problem
Lesson focus: To develop the concept of creating space on the field
so thrower can make accurate passes to receiver.
Introductory task/game
- 3 on 3 bean bag keep away.

Skill/Concept development tasks/games
Culminating Game: Box Game, 3 on 3
- 3 on 3 game, each team tries to score points by catching
the bean bag in the centre box.
- Playing area is a large box shape (25ft by 25 ft), with
a small box in the centre (5 ft by 5ft).
- Each team tries to score a point by catching the bean bag
in the smaller box.
- If a team drops the bean bag, the opposing team must
begin the play by starting on the edge of the large box.
- Players cannot run with the bean bag, and you have 10 sec
to throw the bean bag.
- You are only allowed to guard one player at a time.

Maintaining Possession of the Disc

Lesson focus: To develop throwing and catching abilities

Culminating Game:
- Box Game- 3 on 3 using frisbee (same as lesson 1 culminating
game but using a disc).

Lesson 3
Tactical Problem
Lesson focus: To develop the students ability to make effective
cuts into the open space and to learn the position of marking the thrower.
Introductory task/game
Skill/Concept development tasks/games
Culminating Game: 3 on 3 mini ultimate
game
- Same rules as the game of ultimate, using a smaller playing
area
- To score a goal, team must make at least 3 complete passes.

Lesson 4
Tactical Problem
Avoiding chaos and clutter

Lesson focus: To develop the concept of not cluttering the passing
lanes by teaching the importance of clearing out of an area.
Introductory task/game
Culminating Game: 7 on 7 round-robin tournament
