Teaching Points:
-
Support each other when ball carrier is need. Do this by repositioning,
allows the ball carrier to observe new angles to make efficient passes
or drives.
-
Cover open areas on the field. If a teammate/classmate moves to another
area, then a player should cover that vacant space.
-
Communication. Make sure the ball carrier knows where other teammates are,
in case of support. On defense, communicate with fellow defenders about
oncoming offensive players, repositioning and areas that would help delay
the attack.
-
Using space in attack. Shield the ball if offense, and shield body with
off-the-ball movements, so a passing lane opens up. On-the-ball skills
such as, using the whole width of field, helps students dribble and maintain
ball control freely.

Teams rotate after 5 minutes. Students can switch goalie positions
any time. |
